Just by the print screen button - It managed to short all connections on the F keys and number keys and has left a horrible stain on the screen.

    ^^ Wrong thread?^

Off out for the first time in along time tomorrow night.

Drinkies with a pretty lady. Guess I will see what the night brings.

Also Windows 8, as much as I boohood it I quite like the interface. Hasn't taken me long to get to grips with it. I also ready used to click start and start trying to find a program or application. So the Metro UI Start screen is no different.

Finally got everything installed on the SGS3. The pure win of having a tad over 10GB free versus tiny 20-30 megs.

I can do better than potassium on a keyboard.

    1. Potassium leaping over the screen and landing on my goggles - scared the schit outta me.

    2. Magnesium into pure oxygen - the gas jar exploded.......... proper brown trousers moment.

    3. Pupil left a gas tap on by some blinds - lit it and an 8 foot fireball did it's best to set them on fire .....

Edited highlights of a 13 year science teaching career so far :D

    Double whammy!

Yesterday the probation period on my new job was cut down to one month, the month I've already done, so it's mine!

And later today I'm going to meet tigers, real ones with stripes on! :D

Voted as soon as I saw your post. I loved this game on DC and GC. Playing it on a PC would just rock my world.

Feeling so much better today. Pills are making me a bit out of it but they seem to help me get into the flow of things too; since I don't hurt much.

Aren't BT denying flat blocks Fibre unless the whole building agrees to stump up the cost of connection and distribution or some stupid ******** like that?

I hope not, that'd mean me giving some poor sod on the phone hours of grief over a decision that's not theirs. Also if they don't, then there'd be no point running fibre to our exchange, it only serves maybe 50 standalone or semi detached houses; everything else is flats or tenement flats.

I'm going to be positive and take the view that i may end up with better broadband at some point in the next 5 years. Obviously it's optimism tempered by cynicism.
