I can ride with that? Good isn't it.

I've had my first inspirational moment with writing in ages. Happily walking through a corridor at work, passed some automatic doors and it's given me some damn awesome ideas.

A mate of mine (and ex band mate) just posted this on facebook:

It's him with a German copy of Terrorizer Magazine that features his artwork. He always wanted to get into band-art... SUPER chuffed for him,

    in working condition?

My new IEMs are making my life awesome because they're revealing a whole heap of things i'd not noticed before while listening to Muse. My last IEMs did exactly the same a few years back, it seems i get bits added to my music each time i upgrade what i'm listening on.

Old laptop (5 years next month), new SSD. I was running a 320GB WD Scorpio Black in this before and that was a large step up in storage and performance from the crappy 160GB Seafail drive that it shipped with. This is the first Sammy 840 Evo that I've used and I am well impressed with it. It's also finally free of Vista 32 bit, running my old £30 student copy of W7 Home Premium now and going like a brand new machine!

Shipped with the following spec 5 years ago:

    2GHz single core Celeron
    2GB RAM
    160GB 5400 RPM Seafail
    Vista Home Basic x86

    Now running:

    C2D T5750 (2GHz)
    4GB RAM
    Samsung 840 Evo 250GB SSD
    W7 Home Premium x64

I also have an OEM HP battery in the post for it to cure the 5 minute battery life problem. Once that's done it'll be Cheesecake!

It may look every bit its age, but once you boot it up... What a sleeper! :hehe:

Sonos is getting a cheaper smaller option. Perfect for placement in my kitchen/office.

I'm so excited, as I've wanted to add a few more points to my system, but a play 3 was overkill.

I leave for Texas on the 22nd. Spend a week there, road trip through New Mexico and into Colorado and stay there till the 5th November... It's all for work, I only have to pay for my own expenses, but holy hell I am friggin STOKED!

Also get to see how much of a fuss the American's make of Halloween. Awwwww yeah.

Tell your boss you need an assistant and you have someone (me) in mind, all he has to do is pay the travel fare.
