Prepare you butt for a performance increase. At work we have a FTB server on an Ubuntu (desktop) machine which we use for other tasks. It needs to be the desktop version as it runs a few other bits and non technical people VNC into it. But the difference between that and a Windows box is very noticeable. The server version or Ubuntu, or any other Linux distro (I use CentOS at home and work for other server tasks) is a bit faster still.

If you are looking to host a server online, the cheapest place is probably DigitalOcean. I have a referral link if you wanted to earn me some free money :thumb: I would say the $10 a month server would suffice if you only have a couple of people but with all the mods 1gb of ram might let you down. If I were setting a server up for some big builds for 3-10 people I would go for the $20 a month.

Back at the Gym again after a 2 year stint of doing nothing. I'm not as unfit as I though. I only weigh 64kg and I'm 6ft so I'm not looking to loose weight, just gone up and build up some stamina. I used to do a 24 mile round trip to work and back most days. Want to be that fit again!

Blimey, that's nearly 2 of me...

I have nerve damage in my right scapular, I can barely lift my right arm to pick my nose let alone bench 100kg : P

Met a nice girl tonight. Hit it off, I decided to get back in the game, and lo and behold, I'm seeing her again next week.

You're 6ft and only weigh 64kg? that sounds insanely underweight

I am but I pack away a so much food it's unreal, I had a viral infection about 2 years ago it really knocked me for 6. Ever since then I've not been able to process food properly, had a bunch of tests, blood work is fine, all of my 'samples' are fine.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me! I don't feel bad for it, just need to eat like a horse to keep any weight on!

The flora in your gut is probably disrupted (definitely if you had a lot of antibiotics). Eat a lot of live yoghurt.

After a lot of time weighing up pros and cons, I've decided to leave my current job and not take the other job offer that I had, But to start up my own business.

I've managed to secure a contract for a minimum of 15 months, which gets me off the ground and adds a little security. The rest of the year is certainly going to be interesting.

Did they test for intestinal parasites? That's what it sounds like and it's uncommon enough these days that no one may have thought to look.

A friend I've not seen for a while asked today if I'd been 'hardcore working out' which perplexed me, but I guess it means I'm doing something right.

Nice! Particularly the snazzy LEDs. I've had a few compliments on my red-and-white board that I'm using today, too. Custom keyboards are the future!

Just got back from paddling three hours in Tacoma to photograph a new shipwreck. Paddling with people you like is pretty awesome.
