When a friend of mine decided to get out of M:tG cards, he made enough to buy a decent 2nd hand car (£4000+!)

What makes my life awesome right now? A chippy tea :D

Yeah, Yu-Gi-OH Cards can go for that much to the right buyer. Yata-Garasu is an incredibly rare and powerful card; it can go for £30 onwards. I've seen it go for £120 once.

Charizard the Pokemon card is a very special case; it was because it was so insanely powerful without needing much energy to do so (Energy is required to attack). It could kill pretty much any other card in a single hit and it had a ridiculous HP level to match. If you stocked up on potion cards, you could win a game with just a Charizard. Wizards of the Coast did say it was a bit of an oversight when they made it that powerful; it was a one off really. It's now out of print and very sought after, so it can go up to £100 or even higher.

Other Forums that specialise in card collecting. They're one of the few places where they'll appreciate how much they're worth.

Also I've finished college for this year! Compared to the time I had at high school it's almost unnerving to think about just how fast this year has actually gone.

Also smoked salmon on rye bread. :D

It's my birthday today. It's not been the one I expected though because I'm ill with a cold (Who the hell catches a cold in the summer?). It was nice though, spent the day in with the family, played some games, watched a film with some popcorn. It turned out okay.

Summer cold? I sure do. :(

Can't argue with time in with the family! Just a shame it's always too warm.

I know that feel! Then again, I despise the sun anyway.

*Yet again stands awkwardly as he rubs prescription suncream on himself. :worried:

Got a new custom three piece bow that should be easier to aim and can shrug off rain showers without issue. Ought to be able to fling some heavy arrows as well.

Went to Penzance again today, that's the 2nd time in 5 days, Worked out that i've roughly traveled 570+ miles today by train, and it's almost cost me nothing.

Finally feeling better, weirdest reaction to a single topping of a pizza, I took it off and ate it separate for literally no reason.

It must have been some crazy chilli because the burning wouldn't stop for hours! I felt like I was going to throw up for a while.

I'm usually pretty tolerant to spice but that really knocked me back I couldn't stop it burning.

Also got some new glasses today, I wear contacts 99% of the time but I've always wanted a pair of glasses I actually liked to wear, there a lot different to what I usually wear but change is good

I also only got charged a lot less than what I expected for them :)

Same day eye appointment for severe photophobia.

    Same. Day. In the US.

Also got the same glasses as Hawkeye wore in The Avengers for my new prescription wear.
