Went out for a few hours today and managed to beast mode Christmas while spending a lot less than I initially intended while getting exactly what I wanted for everyone!

Love it!

 

Just been reading one of the local free newspaper/booklet things ( ~70% adverts, 20% twaddle, 10% interesting stuff ), turns out that the powers that be are trying to book the Royal Netherlands Airforce F-16 air display team, and some civilian display teams including a P-51 & a B-17 ( Sally B ). I think I just jizzed my pants.

The regular displays are very good when the weather doesn't ruin them, but to get something so different and rare would be heaven ( fairly bog standard aircraft though by some guys standards I imagine )....

 

HAHA. I knew my four years of calculus would kick in sometime.

Just booked my hotel for i54, going to be an awesome weekend.

 

Finally managed it: Passed my Driving Test today. I'm legally allowed to be let loose on UK roads. This will only end well...

 

Congratulations. I need to man up and go get my license, driving has always been something that terrified me, and I let my G1 license expire.

 

Don't take that attitude towards it. Man up and get out there. People who lack confidence at the wheel can cause at least as many problems as anyone else!

 

Opened up the my Xbox one for Christmas to check for damage and found a 12 month Xbox live subscription inside and some £10 thing to spend on music and games.

Pretty nice considering I got it for a deal at £269.99

Might sell it because I can't imagine I'm going to use all 12 months worth wisely, i'll probably spend 2 weeks casually playing and an hour or two a week from there

 

Had a pretty decent appraisal today so that is nice to know I am wanted and appreciated.

Comforting to know whatever is going on outside of work my job is nice and stable.

 

Awesome = Learning that my gf has an 84% chance of living another ten years.

Having a 16% chance of being dead within a decade isn't that awesome but 84/16 is a lot nicer than 16/84

Roll on the radiotherapy. Take that cancer. Zonk. Kapow. Biff.

Being described as a young 'Celebrity females find attractive' I don't get it very often but when the same names pop up its a definite confidence boost.

 

New Zealand work visa came through yesterday, finally!

Head out Tuesday to join my other half who headed out in October. Yay!
