You can't convince this one, my friend.

Once complained about being broke, then went out shopping for a new console, to cheer up.

It's a slippery slope when you start earning money.

The more you earn, the more you spend.

The sandwich didn't last long :( But was very yummy.

Simple things in life, infact I love sandwiches at the moment, had a lovely half a 400g freshly baked bloomer loaf, heavily spread, with pickle, cheese, lettuce, ham and tomato, I personally call it a 'manwich' lol

    Simple things indeed :)

Oh I know, but it's worth a shot anyway.

It's true about that slippery slope but it's best to at least start earning before getting on it.

The stargazing conditions tonight are epic. It's been so long since I've fired up the Night Sky 2 app and chilled out on the patio with a glass of wine and watched the stars. It's been a long day and it's a crystal clear night, so that's exactly what I'm doing :thumb:

Very nice, that looks like an awesome place to spend time! Jupiter and Saturn looked spectacular last night, as did the moon. Makes me want a telescope with a DSLR mount...

Decided to try on some of my old jeans. Bad news - still a bit tight / snug in the thighs. Good news, I can at least fit into them!

It does, and that's only half the garden, can't wait to move in there. Already picked out the spots for the cold smoker and the BBQ

    Power!

After 36hrs we have had the power switched back on after a huge storm that rolled through over the last two days.

Ausgrid ( australian power company) put out a statement at 12pm today...

a monumental job in these conditions to get it back on so fast! Most of it was due to trees being uprooted onto lines.

First trip abroad and on a plane.
Little anxious in the beginning on the way to the airport but was perfectly fine once we checked in.

Had an amazing time and no anxiety attacks. :)

Expenses have been prioritised months in advance.

Rooms found and ready to view on 4th May. Work clothes has been paid for and stored suitably ready to go

After Rent, Housing Bills, Fuel cost, Finance, Food bills and a decent sum of disposable spending money for the month I'll be able to match the same and more for a nice little Nest egg for my potential permanent move back to Devon and into a place I can actually call home.

It may seem I've been irresponsible with money in the past and I've paid for that tenfold.

I've definitely considered the repair costs, I've owned a 1999 Corsa since I past my test and I've paid little over £1300 on repairs (excluding tyres & general wear) a small fortune on petrol costs and many of hour has been spent polishing it desperately too keep it from turning pink in the sun. Its been an unreliable banger despite only holding 61k when I first bought it.

I always thought to myself when I could afford it I would buy something I liked.

I really think I've had about as much bad luck with this one. I'd like to think it can only look up from here.

(For clarity I've been looking at a variety of car manufacturers up to 7 years old, its only that particular car that caught my eye but I'm put off by the amount of miles on the clock)
