And a Tardis? Or is that just a legit police call box? Do police call boxes like that still exist?

Cheers, it has to be done, doesn't it? Those simple things that make all the difference. You look like an adept chiller yourself.

Jaipur is the first beer of theirs that I've tried but I'm now keeping my eyes open for their others for sure. If I find somewhere serving Jaipur on tap, I'll be claiming squatters rights!

There is an actual Tardis on the roof, yes. Also a Dalek at the bottom of the stairs :)

My graphics card isn't such a dog to overclock after all!

In a nutshell: I bought this GTX 580 used last year. I was very pleased with it but as soon as it arrived I had a fiddle with the clock speeds anyway, as you do, and got nowhere - lockups and random square artifacts galore, even at fairly modest speeds with generous voltage. I thought "great, I've bought a dog" but wasn't too bothered because even at stock speeds it is a huge improvement over my previous cards.

Fast forward to last winter and my PC starts playing up - graphical corruption on POST screen and in Windows. Re-seated the graphics card and discovered the bracket was pulling the card very slightly, causing the back of the card to lift slightly out of the PCIE socket. Bent the bracket slightly and it's been fine since.

Fast forward again to last night and for some reason I had a thought from nowhere, a bolt from the blue: "what if the poor overclocking was caused by the slot issue...?". Sure enough, after a brief fiddle in Afterburner and a few test benchmarks it now seems stable at 900MHz (up from 795).

When I was self employed I employed an accountant for a couple of years until I had learnt the 'correct' way to complete a tax return. Sacked him thereby saving cash immediately and still paid sweeties in tax.

Silence.......I'll make it worth your while :naughty:

Seriously though, as Kronos says, I pay exactly what I'm legally supposed to, but still save a fortune.

I don't go through any loopholes; I just claim back what I'm told I can.
