Passed my g1 driving test this morning.
Mother brought one of my brothers, myself and my sister for breakfast
    It's a beautiful day outside
    Softball starts on Monday
    Down 5 pounds

Had an interview last Thursday (April 23rd) that went well. They said they'd be following up in 2 weeks, so hopefully I'll receive some good news next week.

I find ASMR incredible for zoning out. If you find something particularly good you can feel stress, strains and general issues melting away.

For me car bought today, haggled and got 12 months tax included in the price which is pretty darn handy. Came home and shortly after sold my car to a cash buyer. Need to get some money back on tax & insurance which should cover new insurance. Pick it up Thursday

One less thing to worry about, now to just find a house share and pay on Monday and I'll be golden!

Got a house share, nice bloke who lives on the bottom floor with his family, their bathroom and such.

Second floor is a shared bathroom and third floor is two rooms for professionals one of which is occupied by a male mechanical engineer and other by me. If I look outside my window I can see where I will be working, I've got a nice big airy room with my own personal fridge and its fully furnished.
There's a 2 minutes walk to work, 15 minutes to an ASDA, KFC and other good restaurant.

I can hit the motorway within minutes of where I will be living. So I can get back home for off periods.

The only real negative is its going to put so much strain on my relationship I'm not sure how that might work out, She makes claims that she wants this to be a long term thing between us and the amount of times she says it I do somewhat believe her. I'm not sure, she's very insecure and has been hurt in the past. I don't think she will do well with the distance but I don't have any choice if I want to have a nice financially stable life with her. We live a good distance apart now so its not like I can walk or even afford petrol to go see her a lot currently.

After a couple of years or so of trying to persuade the housing association that the ancient heating system in my flat really should be renewed as promised it would be a while back. I have just been informed that anew heating system will be installed this month. So goodbye inefficient back boiler and hello something modern and cheaper to run, Modern timer and thermostat instead of rubbish I have now where control is little more than off and on. And with both of us older with medical conditions that mean we feel the cold rather more acutely than most then this is going an absolute fantastic upgrade.

My wife and I lived in different countries until 18 days before we got married, you'll be fine. It just takes effort and ensuring that you talk as often as possible, either through some chat stuff (we met over and used yahoo chat back then) or phone calls.

It looks like George Galloway and Nigel Farage may have lost their seats.

May I just point that Farage technically didn't have a seat to lose...

There is a glimmer of hope in that he said he'd resign if he didn't win the seat... Lets hope they hold him to that...

I don't usually rejoice in the failure of others, however in this instance... :)

What time is the South Thanet result expected, do you know?

    Edit: Around 07:30 apparently.

That cretin Farage losing his seat. Oh, and just had FTTP installed. Gigabit broadband? Thanks :)

Broadband inequality! Nobody needs that much bandwidth, it's just grossly unjustifiable. Whilst you're up in your ivory tower hoarding all your megabits there are the oppressed like myself struggling to get by on 3mb/700k internet, without any opportunity to have any more megabits.

I call for reform! Too long have inequalities like this been allowed to run rampant!

If it's any consolation, I had to dig up my drive and help pull the fibre (there was a blockage)...

I have just been upgraded from less than 2mb/256kb permanent drop-out-land though.

I'm sorry for gloating :( It IS fast though.

It's of utterly no consolation, but thanks anyway :p

I'd happily dig up my drive, back garden and half the road to have real internet, but neither BT nor Virgin want to hear about it.

It's so unbelievably frustrating, isn't it. Maybe our re-elected overlords might do something to help? Doubtful...
