Having DirecTV hooked up at our farmhouse from the 1930s. Yeah, we got the farmhouse (after my legs were so severely hit in the stroke.)

Thinking of "This Old House" with it. Ideas?

Look at the most recent 3 episodes where they helped "Homes for Heroes" with a new build for a disabled veteran. Lots of good ideas in there.:thumb:

Going to St Petersburg for a week at the end of this month. Just got the visa and all the documents in order for the trip. Always wanted to go, so I'm psyched!

Just found out that I have been given an award recognizing "all of my hard work over the past couple of months" nothing special but at least the formal recognition is nice

I hide behind nothing more than Reactalight glasses. Which means I can stare or ogle as some unkind people like to call it with impunity.

Got a liberal ton of old stuff and junk out of my room, in the car and down the tip, now just need to sort the last few items and clear this end before my dad and I tear out the old unit and build a new desk into it, this next week is going to be good!

Not sure if i'm going to be up for anything Monday, though, since Bethesda's E3 conference is at 3AM. Hrm...

Turning 21 did not make me a responsible adult, is there a course somewhere? "How to Adult"?

You'll get a package in the mail some time this year, it contains a jetpack for life. It's invisible and weightless, but you'll blink and be 25!

I don't think Karma is real. But since having a horrific time with an ex partner, still to this day and watching them come up smelling of roses, only to always turn the other cheek and wish them well believing or hoping rather that one day i'd be free of it and that she would grow up and learn for herself how treating others correctly is always rewarding. Suddenly, I'm being bombarded with random gifts from my friends, they're offering me their time which I find is the most important, I've been making some new friends that are proving to be remarkable people, I've had old friends just appear out of nowhere to say hello or to come and see me and to put the icing on the cake a long time friend who was in the sports entertainment business contacted me to offer me a job running a specialty coffee shop, which for the past two years is what I have dreamed of...

It's just the way things go, but sometimes it's nice to imagine a world where it all fits together.

Congratulations. There is nothing quite like it. No childless person will ever understand or have a viable opinion. Once you have a child, your whole life is like a different genre, it's completely different.
