I'm doing sound for Nils Lofgren soon! Work is picking up which is always a good thing.

It may not sound that important, but it is to me. I finally found a good, reliable source of 2m, 90 degree IEC leads for less than £2 per unit. I was getting ripped off paying more than double that before.

 

I may, I repeat MAY recover from man-flu tomorrow! It sounds silly but when I come down with the flu everything goes out the window, I can't hold a conversation with anyone, I get agitated and struggle to muster the motivation to do anything.

 

MY business is doing. Greaaaaat.

 

You can NEVER have too many IEC leads! They seem to go walkabout by themselves constantly.

On topic - decided to start building stompboxes, so have spent today researching parts and circuits. Bear in mind I'm an electronics novice, so this 'makes your life awesome' may turn into a 'ruining your life' post

Thanks, but it doesn't do that in the compiler, just comes up with "Hello Bit -Tech", I'll take a screen grab in a bit, sat in a lecture so don't really want to fanny about with Gimp etc atm.

I'm quite close to finishing phase one (design and mockup) of a large project that I've been working on for the past couple of months. It's been going well this week, despite having to make modifications to the motherboard tray 4 times to get all the cables where I want and need them. I've been cutting, drilling, filing, riveting and de-burring for what seems like a fortnight, not a few days Still, it's great to see another machine come together on the bench and I've only really been able to see major progress these past few days I might even be testing the hardware tonight

I have the Silversun Pickups to thank for my progress today. I've had Carnavas on repeat in the workshop all day, and it's really helped me to focus somehow!

 

ehhh... extra long weekend.... i dont work today (friday) as usual. but i dont go back to work until tuesday.

also new windshield is getting put into my car. winrar!


also gots teh cell# of a girl i been chatting with for a week or so. its interesting... mainly just dirty sex talk. lol idk where its gonna lead to tho.

the above lady would im sure be okay with meeting me if i ask. maybe i will for next weekend when i go to see a movie with some friends.
