On the way to work i found a girls wallet, it was outside starbucks. Had her conplete life in there, two inches of bank cards driving licence, 80 stirling 20 euro and around 10 coins, rung up her american express updated and just returned from providing it to the anerican embassy, met two switched on police with big guns (scary up close).

What was interesting was they only got energized to take the wallet once they saw the large bundle of notes then the conversation changed and he wanted it handed over then started writing up a report, police are so precise about time, i said it was around 10:15 to 10:20, then he got angry when i said ok it was more like 10:30 i knew then it was going into the right hands.

Emma from Georgia USA has the power of american express and the us embasy in london to get her lovely wallet back to her!!

    (Yes tried facebook lookup)

God bless america and all the lovely tourists that come to safe central London,

Wells fargo were useless and only went ahead and destroyed all her cards, she will have to get new ones.

I had a good interview recently with instant positive feedback on it once it was over. There was no HR presence either which makes things a lot easier. Just tech people talking about tech jobs.

The Taylor Wessing photographic portrait exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. Can't beat viewing big prints in the flesh, there were some very powerful pictures and not a single mention of technical or gear nonsense, just pictures. Inspirational stuff.

Dang, that's a pity. Would've been nice to meet up over a few beers.

What is it with all the floating Yodas in Trafalgar Sq? I wondered if someone had spiked my water but other people seemed aware of them too. :worried:

Started my new job today - I love it! Now I need to see if the appeal lasts, but it should do.

The extra money I'm gonna get is nice too.

Getting back home after the train journey from Hell. Delayed leaving Euston because of dodgy brakes, then a man collapsed right in front of me on the train. Eyes rolled back, completely out of the game. He came round after a minute or two though, thankfully.

    What a day.
