Other What currently makes your life awesome?

I saw Muse live Monday night. Easily the best concert I've seen.

 

Its been pretty sunny and my mood is directly effected by the weather...

 

I manned up with the girl of my interests and.......







not perfect... but still.

 

Might be buying a second house if what my father told me as a secret is true... although he was drunk at the time so it might have just been that.

 

Got to pick sister's kids up from school (always a pleasure) and then straight on to an appointment after that, somewhere inbetween I am going to have THE MOST AMAZING late lunch.....very hungry

 

Met a friend I've been meaning to meet for a very long time, and had a great conversation for a few hours over a couple of pints - Purely by chance that we were both in the same place at the same time.

 

Booze.

 

I'm home for the first time since I started at university

Just learned some great news. My current job requires an Associate's but an exception is made for me since I'm in school getting mine now. I originally thought the position above it required a Master's since the two at it now both have theirs. Turns out I only need a BA and they just happen to be over qualified. Much win.

 

Just back from the first ceilidh i have been to in a couple year.
My flatmate was interesting in going to find out what it was like so i happily went.
After 5 minutes of being there a girl comes asking for an extra person for a dance so i let my flatmate go so he definitely gets to try a dance.
After that I spent the rest of the night dancing with the girl and after being a gentleman and walking her home ( a whole 60m away from my flat in halls so no bother) i got her number.

Been a while since properly being in the game so that was a welcome return.

As for what makes my life awesome - I had a very quiet, wonderful, intimate dinner with the girl I'm interested in. I think it counted as a date, but since she drove us there (I don't have a car in LA) I'm not sure

 

Made it on my school's mock Trial team by winging it and only making my statement about 2 hours before it actually started.

One of my mates followed them around for about 10 minutes acting like an obsessed 13 year old Was strange that everyone just seemed to be standing around during their set, was a bit better for Sabaton tho.

Also, posted at half 12? Why were you on here when you should still have been partying??!!

 

Today was my first day in work since being made unemployed 3.5 months ago. I also found out our landlady is happy for us to get a cat but we have to wait until someone moves in to the spare bedroom first as they might not like cats/be allergic.

Yay, cats.

 

Early semi-Christmas present. I now have my dad's Cannondale indefinitely.
