Going to pick up my girlfriend at school in a little bit.... to bad ittle be past 11 before I leave and the drive is close to an hour each way, but still, we get to see each other for over an hour for the first time in close to three weeks

My router and mobile signal booster are back online finally (after only one hellish night). And we were paid the other day, which funds my PC build.

 

I got data binding working (sort of) in the WP7 Pivot Control.

Bit-Tech WP7 App anyone?

 

Going back home to Toronto in the new year for a few weeks with the misses and getting it paid for by my mother.

 

I worked out why I couldn't the Application Bar icons and background images working in WP7. 'Content' not 'Resource'

I also managed to get navigation, multiple feed downloads and full feed view(image below on right) working.



Note: The App itself it my first full WP7 project and I won't be publishing it (even ignoring the legal issues). I chose bit-tech's feeds as they provided enough filterable content to allow it to work effectively without providing too much. Also as I read bit-tech's website daily I can keep the final version for my own personal use.

Life in general seems to be picking up, school is good, the relationship with a certain someone is picking up, or rather being repaired so i might succeed after all.

- The missus and Myself celebrated 3 years the other day
- Finally managed to download the Mac OS 10.6.4 combo update. Damn instable lines made it a 2-day mission with a download manager.
- Tomorrow is Payday

Passed my driving test last week now im independant best of all i have a car outside insured

Next summer its going to be me cruising in my car to the beech while the rest of my friends take the bus!!

Na im not that harsh but if they piss me off there walking the rest of the way

Got a mate over from Scotland visiting me until this Sunday. It means going out for dinner lots (yummy German restaurant tonight) and nights out. Going through to Dubai on Thursday night as well for to show my friend some sights then get leathered. And then a big birthday party Friday during the day then to a club where I have a bottle of Absolut behind the bar.

Then my mum comes over for a visit for pretty much all of November. Haven't seen her since June so that's nice too.

And also, as always, the girl is making life awesome when she isn't being infuriating ^^

Oh forgot to mention that work so far this week has been very laid back because we got a load of stuff out last week.

And I get paid this week

I worked out that bike 60km a week which is 37 miles, that is 1.5 marathons

 

Just got around my building's 2 device limit for their internet service [mac spoofing], but means I can only have 2 devices enabled at once

 

Try using a cable DSL router and setting it into DHCP mode on the WAN interface?

Unlimited hosts behind it and your own Wifi network. You could hide the SSID so no-one can see it too

 

The unified SATA connector for all SATA-based hard drives. My laptop caught a pretty severe FLVTube virus and I very easily backed up my important data and wiped W7 clean.

Thanks to MSDN, I get a new free copy of W7 Pro to replace it.

 

This method does work, however they cap each MAC / login ID to 1.25mbps, so this way I can have full bandwidth for each device

Also, I accidentally plugged the LAN in whilst having the WLAN on (same MACs) and it didn't cause a meltdown.
