Bought a set of hot pink Beats Studio quite a while ago. Any way, I took them on holiday last October and plugged them into my Macbook using the 3 pin white cable and they sounded kinda odd. Muddy, sounds were missing (literally whole instruments were missing). Didn't have anything else with me so just threw them back in the carry case. Well here I am almost a year later and it turns out the issue was the 3 pin white cable. Why give some one a cable that doesn't frikkin work ? switched out to the 4 pin red cable and have been having a blast (literally) since. Easily the most sensitive pair of cans I own and can be driven to ear splitting volumes too, so long as you back off with the bass (otherwise they fart and slap you in the head).

Happy though. They are much lighter than my Beats Pro, and less bass heavy but forking loud. Sometimes I like loud.. Very, very loud..

No, doing good would have been working on local copies and manually uploading at the end instead of thinking "hey, I'll save myself five minutes by working directly on the FTP..."

got to have a play on a spanking new Can-Am outlander 1000r earlier, whoever thought of stuffing a 1.0 engine in a 400kg chassis was either nuts or a genius. I haven't laughed so hard whilst doing 80mph on a quad. :hehe:

That's a big engine for a little chassis... But it's no worse than a 1L motorcycle I guess.

little is not the word id have used to describe the max model, its the size of a small car but if i was to get one id have gotten a single seater as i didn't like the larger turning circle. the old man is seriously considering getting one to replace his now aging/battered 800r Max LTD.

I have my Master's degree in Architecture and have been out of school for just over three years.

To become a licensed architect in the US you have to have three years of experience (in specific work areas/tasks). This is called your architecture experience program (AXP).

You also have to take six (6) different tests called the architecture registration exam (ARE). You have five years from the point you pass your first exam to complete the other five divisions.

Last year I made it my new year's resolution to pass all of my exams in one year. I work in an architecture office with some people who have been working their whole careers but have never gotten licensed. One guy turned 50 last year. Another guy is in his 40s. I realized that I had been out of school a few years and had just turned 30 and no motivation to do anything "school" like ever again. But I looked at these other guys who have never gotten licensed and I realized that I would end up like them if I didn't do something about it immediately.

So I scheduled my first exam for March 17th. It took about six weeks to get my results, but I passed!
I took my second exam on May 12th and passed that as well. I quickly took a third on May 23rd and passed that as well. Summer came on and I had some vacation planned, so I didn't take my next exam until July 24th, but I passed that one as well.

Today I found out that the last of my AXP time has been approved. All I have to do now is pass my final two exams.

They are both scheduled for next month, September 11th and September 28th. I'm relatively confident that I'll pass both on my first attempt. When I do, I'll be licensed before my 31st birthday and before the end of 2018. I'm really proud of myself.

TLDR: I've been taking exams to become a licensed architect in the US and should be licensed a little more than one month from now.

Cutting/buffing :D whilst it knackers you out it's worth it.

Gone from this (look at the side panel for reference, there were some huge scratches and marks on it)

To this after one round of T-cut metallic

I have done the top as well. Still some tiny hairline scratches, but will give it a second round before hitting it with Plastx, which is a very fine compound.
