The correct plural is "A stomachache of chocolate oranges."

If you ate all of those in one sitting then I take my hat off to you sir. I can't eat anymore than 4 segments of them and then I just feel sick !

Bit dull but finally got my home network sorted after years of using crappy slow unreliable home plugs.

Two 5ghz routers bridged giving me several times the throughput peer to peer, copying files from my server at 25mbs which is quick enough for me :)

Also coverage is now excellent too.

A bushel could be used as the collective noun for oranges but that would be a specific quantity, in the case of oranges that would be 50 (a bushel of apples is 48, no idea why its different, must be a weight thing). Now, as to the collective noun of chocolate oranges or even oranges in a quantity other then multiples of 50, I would suggest that it depends on the container in which they are carried. A box of oranges, or a bag of oranges. However, as the chocolate oranges are sold in their own boxes but supplied to the store in a case quantity then you could use that as the basis for a quantitative noun. From memory (of shelf stacking), a case of chocolate oranges is either a single 4 x 3 tray or a double stack of the same in which case, 12 chocolate oranges would either be a case or a half case.

Thanks to a friendly guy on OCUK forums I am going to travel to the other side of Edinburgh to try out his Humanscale Freedom chair., a generous offer of course made even more so is he is preparing a move to London on Saturday so a busy time but still has kindly managed to squeeze me in. Went to Ikea yesterday to look at the Markus , was not impressed, though the cost new is less than half the second hand Humanscale.

I passed my final Architecture Registration Exam!

Now all I have to do is send my application to the state's licensing board and I will be a licensed architect!

    I haz job!

Well, actually, I haz job since last Monday, but it's crap money and I know I'll hate it.

So, to offer a slight correction: I haz new job. Starting a week on Monday.

The people are nicer, the salary is much better, I know I'll enjoy it infinitely more than the other one and it's closer to home.

I'm just about to attack a few bottles of Doom Bar in quiet celebration. Cheers all.

David, well done on getting the better job; that's a relief

George, congrats to you and the family K! One one the way is a distant memory for me, but yet it was no time at all ago...:eyebrow:
My eldest will be 17 at Christmas, and the next stage of the adventure begins. 6th form is under way and OK, driving lessons all too soon :worried:
