Unfortunately it is not as nice as it was the last two days and in fact it is threatening to rain so further work on garden shed and matching planter, still to be built, will need to wait on a warmer day due tomorrow.

Guessing it's going to be mainly used for storage? As doing stuff inside it may be a bit of a squeeze I would think?

    Looks great though! :D

Yes it's purpose is mainly storage. I have so much timber and stuff littering my flat and it really needs it's own space, plus I have taken on grass cutting duties for the flats in my block so a mower and strimmer needs a home also.

Pay review time, had a figure in my head I'd love, never told anyone as to not appear greedy etc

    Got that exact figure...........

    Happy days

It's that time of year for me end of this month, too. Like you, I know what I would be happy with (or rather, the minimum that would make a difference), but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up/get greedy. They've looked after me really well in the 2 years I've been here, so I don't expect that to change, but if it's lower than I want I will probably just ask to increase my working week instead - which would be fine, as I enjoy being here and 37.5 hours is a short week compared to what I've done in the past!

Thanks! little hike in responsibility but that's fine, big hike in money, as in being paid the business average.

I had my hopes set for a decent pay rise. I wont say how much it was but my council tax went up this year by £200 which wiped out said pay rise... shouldn't be hard to beat mine!

's more than I get. As a freelancer, I have only one route to a "pay rise:" doing more work!

I've just arranged to pay my council tax monthly. I just paid a £290 water bill, I just didn't have another £250.

Successfully shortened hose and bled Reverb - I have a moving saddle, no play or leaks!

Tried to shorten the rear brake while I was at it, a bit of oil dripped out from the lever and while it still grabs the rear disc, it isn't gonna stop me in a hurry (that's what front brakes are for, anyways).

Today my mind was so blown that I am literally still picking pieces of it up off the floor.

A couple of weeks back I scanned some old photos and uploaded them onto facebook for my F&F. Any way, my aunty says that she has this old cine 8 projector and some films. They knew what some of them were but the rest were not labelled clearly. So they invited us over for coffee and cake and to watch these old movies. The first one was of us all in Ramsgate. I was 3 years old and we dug this enormous hole in the sand. Then we watched a couple of others, then we found one labelled "Brands Hatch". We had no idea what it was..

Any way, it started out sure enough Brands Hatch. There were bikes and side cars racing, then cars. Then all of a sudden it cut, and the next scene was this tiny little kid going hell for leather on this small yellow BMX like bike. It was me !! I was so totally blown away ! then my brother and I are playing football (well, he is bundling me to the ground as usual and playing football) and then I got bored and got up and got back on my bike and did some more riding lmao.

Amazing ! I am so freakin stoked I can't wait to get it transferred onto a DVD next week :D
