Vertical monitors are great, used to run one vertical (23") one horizontal (27") at home. Currently only got a single monitor on my daily PC so I can have two on my home work pc, and currently have those both horizontal due to the layout, may try flipping one tonight though, see if there's room.

Seems about right, an amber screens were always far better than green screens IMO.

I have two displays at work an one at home, doesnt cause me problems I generally have the browser half width anyway ticket logging system to the right an the other screens got everything else on it, only annoyance is my RDP sessions are all full screen only so makes alt tabbing awkward.
Amusing emails just com out banning third monitors, many people are annoyed!

A completed bedroom. I was getting real sick of stripping off a bed, folding the super king spare duvet and putting the pillows away then putting the sofa back together after. None of which is easy with arthritis in your hand.

So nice having a bedroom with blackout curtains.

Oh and get this. I spent 4 days at my mother's . It was only supposed to be 3 but I got sick. Any way, I got so bloody homesick that I left and came home sick. Homesick.... What is this sorcery you call homesick?

Got an email from Waitrose. My tiger prawns only have a short date on them. They'd rather give me them free instead of not delivering them. If that were Asda they'd deliver it any way. Not unusual to get stuff like bread or milk going out of date that day.

I shall leave you guys to ponder what I'm having for dinner tonight :D

We did have someone claim they needed a pair of those.

Amusingly we worked out using some smaller ones you need I think it was 11.2 curved monitors to have a true 360 display.

Interview confirmed for next Tuesday. Been looking for new roles off and on for the last few months now - and I've withdrawn from a couple of interviews due to the travel distance that would be required for the roles - so it's good to finally get to this stage.

To be honest I kinda assumed I'd get a face to face interview for this one - I had the telephone interview last Friday and I ended up being on the phone for just over an hour. I have to believe that they'd be better at directing the conversation if they weren't getting the answers they were looking for.

They were tiger prawns in coconut breadcrumbs so I had them with peas and big fat chips, with plenty of sweet chili.

I also got my salmon free because he was 45 mins late. Half killed me getting it up here but went down well :D

Damp specialist agrees the kitchen floor damp in the new house is probably down to a long leaking radiator and the lower wall mould behind a cabinet is due to condensation.

Since the radiator has been off and the flooring removed both have started to dry which is a good sign. A good clean of the wall with some diluted washing powder (tip from the specialist) and a new screed with a DPM on the floor and it should all be dandy.

Elsewhere the new plaster looking good and the painter starts on Thursday.

We'll get moved one day :lol::lol:
