Peripherals What did you add to your keyboard today?

Imersa came round after not seeing him for some time and I added the following:

Nyan set
Orange WASD
Orange Spacebar
Half or the RGB modifiers
Green on Blue GH esc
2 x Alien Heads

Apology wholeheartedly accepted. I also have "off" days from time to time, so I can definitely relate to that.

Your bit about ergonomics and RSI was enlightening by the way. You made some good points.

For what it's worth the keyboard I'm using at the moment is one I actually loved at the time when I first tried it (more than 10 years ago). I even went out of my way getting replacements when the first one died (a bit of rage might have been involved in that ).

I've been looking to upgrade to mechanical keyboards for a while, but a couple of issues stand in my way. First, the selection of mechanical keyboards with a Danish layout is quite small. Second, I've no real idea which type of "Cherry MX" person I am, and it's hard to find out. Not only because of the general limited availability, but because it's even harder to find a brick and mortar store where you can actually have a physical go at a mechanical keyboard.

Anyway... I won't derail this thread further by posting (unrelated) comments. Well, I might, but that'd entail me getting a mechanical keyboard first (see above).

Also i kinda need 3 mora Nyan tails, Instead of my rage faces, even though Nyan makes me rage, haha!

Didn't add them today, but finally got around to uploading a couple of pics of them, also first time using lightroom, I've no idea what's going on

They're lovely though, very pleased, currently using them on my Poker with blacks and in a standard plastic case.

I just managed to procure a Poker with ghetto greens! Such hard work

How much did that set you back? If you find it too heavy, I may be tempted, since now I'm used to blacks, I find the blues a little light

 

I would probably swap it for browns or clears, but we'll see

I got it for ~ $120 shipped I think.. would need to check Geekhack to confirm but its down lol

Some strange happenings here, you want greens but dont like blues, longweight wants blues but doesnt have greens, and I have greens and want browns/clears! I'm sure we could sort something out.

 

It's not that I don't like blues, just find them a little light, switching between blacks and blues feels a little odd.

 

I know what you mean, you can adjust to any cherry switch and enjoy it, if you take the time to do so. But switching between switches of vastly different stiffness is very uncomfortable.
