    hi all, were going to get my daughter a digital camera for xmas, for around £80 ish, we were looking at 2 cameras, the fujifilm j30 and fujifilm a235, (its got to be pink), or if you know of a better one for the price, i have the fujifilm f810 and its a fantastic camera, hence why i went for fuji again

    you won't see a difference imho. You've got about 10mp or so, and you're printing 4 x 6's or so, so either way, it'll do the job.

    Stretch to £100 and get a Canon Powershot A480. Wonderful bit of kit and offers better build and overall quality for an entry-level cam.

    Stretch the budget to £110 and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 pink takes a lot of beating.

    The Canon 480 is excellent value but I don't think it's available in pink only red, blue, silver and black. Also a bit "chunky" for slipping in the pocket.

    I'm not sure if I can recommend *the* right digital camera for you, but one thing is for certain: The highest megapixel count will *not* give you the best camera. The higher the pixel count, the less light per pixel the CCD can capture, which results in noisy images.

    I'd have a look at a model from Canon's PowerShot series. You can never go all wrong choosing Canon.

    You might also have a look at the Imaging Resource website. Maybe that'll help you decide on the right model.

    digital camera that can be used as a webcam

    hi again guys, the wife has decided to get my son a digital camera too, can anyone recomend a digital camera that can be used as a webcam, and also has a docking station (docking station not assential)
