Currently studying for a BS in Electrical Engineering along with Pre-Med. I might try for a minor in music (performance) if I have enough time left.
BSc(hons) Computer Science tens of thousands of quid of tuition and ive used approx NONE of the knowledge ive gained from it in the real world, yet wouldn't have got my job without it uni for the win

A degree course should teach you how to think logically and learn on your own instead of being breast-fed. Any useful factual knowledge is a bonus. B.Sc (Metallurgy), living in the Sheffield area, a bit like being the only gay in the village these days...
I havn't done one, so tell me to STFU, but I'd agree with this statement, its not about teching you stuff, its about teaching you to learn well, and to think the right way for your specific speciality.
Did the first year of the then brand-spanking new course BSc Visualisation at Teesside, failed two core modules spectacularly then aimed a little lower and ended up with a HND Business IT.
I'm in the final year of my BSc Computer Science Hons but i have taken the right modules to specialise it to BSc Intelligent Systems Hons. Which do you guys think that i should do? I am aware that lots of people have taken the Comp Sci course but not many people know what the Intelligent systems thing is (AI + NN)
