Did civil engineering at uni, never worked as one. I'm an IT contractor nowadays, no relevant qualifications but I'm somewhere between MSDST - MCSE level I guess.

Things like SC clearance, CCNAs & MSCEs are probably more in demand than people with degrees atm in certain areas of IT, although there are still companies who will only employ grads for stuff like 1st/2nd line support.

Good luck! Finshed my MChem in Medicinal Chemistry last June and now ive just started an MPhil/PhD in orthopedics at UCL. Dont know if ill stay and see it through though.

So most people are engineers of some sort. Unsupprising, it's not like we were expecting arts students. At least people are doing REAL degrees :);)

alright hows this for size? a guy at my dad's office has a friend that has a degree in "snow managment" up in the northern regions of the states they aparently have need for snow manufacturing engineering for the artificial ski slopes... hows that for a worthless degree?

im surprised, I realy thought we would have more people in graphical design/art Im headed for Comp-Sci I want to move back to the northwest and start a local ISP.
