make them direct links to photobucket, rest of us don't see them because of a facebook redirect or something.

I really like the wheels there, im so gad you got a decent sized set i was half expecting massive 18-19"s with low profile tyres, but they just wouldnt look right imho.

    Spot on!

@Stickeh No way I would put something like that on my Mini, although others do. A lot of US Mini owners get lowering springs to remove some of the gap. They claim it makes the car look like an SUV. There's way too many potholes, etc. in the city for me to want to do that.

@-=ice=- Very nice, I love the color! hehehe

I would probably have put one size bigger wheels on that mini, scirocco... but the size you chose (as well as the style) looks VERY nice.
I still want a Mini JCW - just to mess about in... those things are beautifully contained without bringing the "you shall not have fun!!!"-Hammer down all the time a-la Golf 5 GTI :)

Have you had it set up by a pro, or done it yourself? How's the ride?

Damping and height adjustable monotube coilovers, pillowball top mounts, camber adjustable at the front. I did it with a friend, so the wheel alignment's a little off at the moment.

I've got a set of stiffer anti-roll bars to go on too, just waiting for some uprated droplinks to be sorted out. It'll give the suspension a bit of time to settle down and wear in, which by all accounts it needs.

The ride is "on the firm side" :) but the handling has been transformed, even before getting everything set up right, the back end is much more controllable.
