Well I thought of that and I tried it in the past for a friend but it's a pain in the ass because the photo of the rim is never in the same angle as the car !. It's also hard to erase a current rim without losing parts of the disc and caliber

here's the car. Note that I have new, bigger tires that are much better and don't look silly by leaving a huge gap between the wheel and the rest of the car

Here's the result I get on tirerack.com but it's not the same red and it's kind of hard to see because of all the dark

    And the rim itself

I know they look alike (besides the color, obviously) but the ones I have now are damaged and make the whole car shake... and I don't want to damage my new tires !

Easy - work out what angle the pic of the alloy is at, then adjust car to suit... i'd sugest a fairly long distance shot zoomed, to reduce the angles, all wheels on the car straight, then line youself up roughly the same as the picture of the Enkei...

Shaking is never good - what did you do to them, and have you had them balanced? might help temporarily!

Agreed - get down to your local tyre place and see what they say.

Also RE: low profile tyres - if the tyres are good, but it looks too high... Lower it! :D

You don't have to get chavalicious on it (a look I despise, especially when the rear wheel is nearly swallowed by the rear arch), just get some -30mm springs on and it'll look loads better.

allow me to take a picture of what the car looks like now during winter ... It wouldn't really help because the car is just not red anymore :hehe:

The tires on these old photos are old Hancook 205/40/R17, which is way too small for the car. My current tires are Goodyear Eagle GT 215/45/R17 and they fill the arch much, much better. The car is already dropped ! I don't need to drop it any more than that otherwise I couldn't clear speed bumps (it's already difficult) nor could I drive during winter (it's also quite difficult)

    brb with a photo

    stupid winter ...

(no idea why the camera decided to use the flash there)

My summer tires are taller than my winter ones (the whole car is lower during winter... how useful) so the gap between the weel and the arch is even smaller

poor car though, I hate to see it live in this harsh environment

ps: there isn't a lot of snow left because last week Mr. Warming, first name Global, decided it should rain like hell for two days...in January ?!

oh and as you can see my new wipers suck ass

Have you tried ANCO blades? They've worked out great for me so far, and they've been on for well over a year now.

I have also gotten in the habit of cleaning the front and rear window whenever I fill my tank. Most gas stations around here have washer fluid and squeegees available outside for such purposes, and if you're going to be standing out there anyway... I figure I might as well.

    yep

    Brett got it

so hum... no hard feelings about the other day ? I don't want enemies :)

I don't think I did anything to them... I wasn't their only owner and I have no idea how old they are, but I would guess at least 6 years old. I did have them balanced (my father did actually) and I (dad) could see them shake while on the machine (whatever it is... I don't know I wasn't there!)

1996 Acura Integra. 101k miles for $3600. I just ordered a new stereo, speakers, tires, and a wheel center cap. Still need to get the driver seat recovered.

:D What do you mean about the garage? It's the 3 car garage attached to the house. There is also a separate 2 car garage. Can see it in the background of this pic:
