    Pretty impressive - just shows what a damn good engine can do to spice up the 'stang. The Roush versions will be setting all kinds of records methinks. :D

    1.4l VW Golf Mk. 4. Bit sluggish, but for an 18 year old it's not bad :)

    18? The Mk4 was launched in 97... it can't be more than 13 years old.

    [edit]

    I misread that... YOU are 18.. LOL:duh:

    Indeed it's not. I had a 950cc Fiesta when I was 18!

    Bah, you two don't know the half of it. '95 Nissan K11 Micra;

    [IMG]

    0.998L and 54hp of naturally aspirated Japanese fury! Pre-facelift! Three doors! Interior comparable to prison cell and upholstered in finest recycled biros! No power steering, electric windows, or central locking! Aerial for broken tape-player must be extended and retracted by hand! Previously suffered four frontal accidents - the last of which left the car technically a write-off and the headlights attached with cable ties! Bonnet won't close properly, and wobbles alarmingly at speed! Car pulls violently to the left under braking, and even more violently to the right when brakes are released! Left-front wheel is further back than right, owing to accident, and car has a smaller turning circle in one direction than the other!

    I forgot to add that only the driver had an (one!) airbag, it pre-dated Euro NCAP, and I once took it gravel rallying and stripped most of the paint off the sides. It was BRILLIANT.

    Could it be? The only person only person on Earth that has a crappier car than me also posts on bit-tech?

    I've been too ashamed to show mine until now, I may have to grab a pic. Though to be fair it would be a close race, since the exterior of mine hasn't fared so well, mainly due to a number of (successful) break-in attempts. The result of the last one means (aside from the lack of a stereo) that my passenger side door now has a tiny gap around it which makes it sound like it is ever so slightly open, even though it is very much closed. This is especially disconcerting on the motorway, and although you get used to it after a while it did have the unexpected benefit of people suddenly not asking for lifts any more :lol:

    My daily driver is a Micra :) Admittedly it's not an ancient K11, but it's still a 1.0.

    I'm afraid not - I had that Micra for but three years (it was my first car); for the last two years my wheels have looked like this ('03 Mini Cooper);

    [IMG]

    ...and very occasionally like this ('08 Porsche Boxster S);

    I'll replace the stock photos with real ones tomorrow if the weather's OK. I still want to see yours, dammit. That Micra was the most fun I've had on wheels. Apart from the Ariel Atom, but that was only for three laps. So show and tell!

    Meh, what an american car does with a 3.0L, an europen does with a 2.0L, and a jappo one does with a 1.5L. :D
    Super oversized, imho. I personaly do not like huge cars with huge engines. Small cars with small, economic engines are much better. At least until you do a frontal crash with an Hummer.

    Things Americans say/spell differently in English and I question the reasoning of:

    Mom instead of Mum.

    Cream instead of milk.

    Color instead of colour.

    "Off off" instead of "off".

    "Would have" instead of "had". [might need explanation. American - "I wish you would have told me". English - "I wish you had told me".]

    Meh.

    Aluminum and aluminium. There are plenty, but lets not get this derailed. And sorry, but that last car is truly ugly.
