nothing is imposible if you have the right amount of time money and energy to throw at it. also if it wasnt functional then what is the point of making it?

It was a car made for a film.. LOL and a good way to ruin a Falcon XB if you ask me ;)

    clicky.

"Ray Beckerley, and various others, proceeded to modify the car to what was needed for the film. The main modification is obviously the Concorde front end, and the supercharger protruding through the bonnet (which is for looks only)."

I think he is actually a she (forgive me if I'm wrong.. I can't recall what makes me think that now), but being a woman will not shield her from the devastation and wrath I shall deliver at such heresy!

That damned film has a lot to answer for!

    This....

    ..is Eleanor.

    This....

....is a piece of plastic crap with a Nissan Skyline engine and a waste of a decent '68 fastback.

Going to smash something, and hyperventilate for a while now. :)

And you can buy Eleanor replicas, made in the US, they fetch rather a lot though!

the fastest out of what? old chrysler K cars and lincolns? ill bet porsche has something to say about that statement.

i find civics to be far too light to be any good in corners. they will understeer themselves into oblivion if you push them hard.

These days the wife has me driving a Isuzu KB300 with an extended cab. 3 liter turbo diesel, tire roasting torque. Might not be the best town car, but it's fun out in the rural areas. The best part is that it's top speed is 120, so I'm safe from most speeding fines. Which were getting out of hand there for a while.

i'm not saying that the fastback isnt a nice car as i do like al types of car but as mentioned before i am a modder at heart - i just love to tinker and make tthings different, although i do like the skline as thr power you can get from them is immense, a friend of mine is in the british drift champinships and has a skyline with over 1000 bhp and has over £70000 in her, i can tell you that is a nice ride as i have been in her when he has been drifting
    the pink lady

I actually wanted to call my daughter elenore shelby nut my wife wasn't too sure about it
