Bought a 2008 VW T5 recently, 131hp 2,5L TDI 4-Motion

obviously have had both sliding doors repainted and some lousy colour-matching (but metallic silver is a hard colour to get right)



I am considering upgrading to the facelift-front end and a painted rear bumper, but not decided yet, might be better value to upgrade to a newer model in a couple of years instead.

Need to make some stickers for it to promote my own (part time) business, will update when I get that done

Good luck to ya! I was interested in getting into the scca solo class, but I think it's a few thousand dollars just to get your racing license. Never mind getting the car prepped and the costs for each weekend. Sigh... some day (probably when I'm an old man).

The BMW badge at the front needs changing although you can't really see from the pics. So I've ordered a new front and rear BMW emblem, and also 4x bmw centre wheel caps, all in carbon fibre. I 'think' it'll look nicer, we'll see.

 

Got any more pictures e36 ? like the back / sides ?

 

I'll take some later. Had all the wheels refurbed, they are a slightly darker grey now (above pic).

It is an e46, I think he was just referring to my username when asking for more pics. Sorry I've been a bit busy lately but when I get the carbon fibre badges fitted (should get them this week) I'll take some more pics.

 

My Toy and daily driver.... The day I picked it up 4 years ago...


Its a Ford Falcon Ba mkii XR8 Ute. Has a 5.4ltr V8, 6 speed manual and no weight over the rear wheels.

Full M122 supercharger kit running 500rwhp and 470 ft/lb of torque. To many other mods to list (fully rebuilt bottom end etc) but its safe to say, its cost me far too much... and dont tell the missus!

 

Some quick snaps taken today with the phone,







BMW badge on the bonnet and boot was replaced this week with 'carbon fibre' effect badges, same with centre wheel caps, quite pleased with how they look.

330 CI badge was also removed from the rear of the car recently, I prefer it like this. May get a light smoked tint all round, the kind of tint that tends to come standard on some mercs.

 

New track toy work in progress, I've only recently put in the engine and running gear in, lots to do yet including new bigger turbo etc
