Hahaha, I just thought up of a semi-impressive thing you could say to girls. "yeah, we(or i) drive Ironman's car". Highly geeky and should work a treat(actual results may vary)

Better yet! Did you plump for red leather? My Dad bought one (albeit with the 2.0 TDi), and the red leather is absolutely.

The suspension on it (mistakenly ended up with "sports") is utterly useless though - I like a firm ride as much as the next gearhead, but you need new teeth after going over a couple of potholes, it's enough that the ABS/TCS has to cut in all the time when braking/accelerating and driving over a pothole... :\

Mines the half black leather/alacntara, very swish. As for suspension, I dont mind it that much although I know what your saying about the traction cutting in over potholes. It aint as bad as the s-line supension though. I had the 170hp s-line diesel sportback as a courtesy car and that was a lot harder ride.

This is my third Audi and fifth VAG motor and although I love them to bits I think Im gonna get something completley different next, although I am quite tempted by the MK5 GTI :).

    2003 Rav4 3dr 2ltr Petrol, Perm 4x4 = 25mpg in traffic :(

However, once it's sold i'll be getting one of these:

Skoda Fabia vRS - 1.9TDi, 130bhp and 230ft lb of torque - Can be chipped to 160bhp and 280ft lb of torque with ease and no additional stress on mechanicals. But i'll wait for a bit before i get that done, I think the boggo performance will be enough to make me smile lol I was grinning like and idiot on the test drive, where as the Ibiza FR had me cursing a ride that was on a par with the Megan R26, awful.

    Seat Leon 1.9 tdi Stylance.
The color is called brisa blue. I went to a car lot full of Leons and chose the color that looked cleanest after a couple of months outdoors :thumb:

The usual reason is to stop your car getting cloned. The idea being that if someone steals my car, they could do a quick search online for another blue MR2 and make a set of plates with that registration on. That way it won't draw any attention as a quick Police check would show the right model and colour for the plate and it not being reported as stolen etc.

Whether it's really worth blurring the plates out or not is debatable.
