    It's getting there, it lost 6" when it came out second best in a battle with a Black & Decker drill, when it stops sulking it'll be back to full glory

    Looking at my pic on tbe last page (Jan 17) I was Mr longer for winter tidy beard.
    Today, I'm Mr closely cropped approximately fortnightly beard.
    Oh and also 'with age related metallic highlights' thrown in over the last 2 years!
    @mrlongbeard - props to you for that labour of love, that's a huge commitment to beard growth over an extended timescale :thumb:.

    Yeah it's a necro. Yeah I'm quoting myself.

    But I've only just realised all these years after posting this that I never revealed the answer to what game I was playing here:

    It was Chuck Yeager's Air Combat of course. The photo was taken mere weeks before my birthday, when I got an original CH Flightstick (the one with the beige base), making the game substantially more enjoyable.

    You may now go back about your regular business.

    The good lady was in a very small co-op today. Saw a shop worker, without mask, walking down the narrow aisle and said "oh sorry" preparing to move out of the way, the worker said "don't worry about it" and brushed passed her.
