I guess I'm pretty lucky, it's only about 88p here but that's for crappy Tesco petrol and it's the only station for about 10 miles.

It was 86.9p/l in my local Tesco's when I went in last night, and by the time I'd come out, they'd put the price up to 87.9p/l
What's so crappy about Tesco petrol? It all comes out of the same depot!

That's about $5.29 per US Gallon

i live in estonia, now part of EU :(
well, at the moment its 15,95 krons(1,26 U.S. dollars, 0,696 British pounds)
The price here rises extremely fast, just 2 days ago it was near 13,5krons :|
It can easily be predicted that the price will countinue to rise and will reach 20 krons limit quite soon :/

btw, i used google conventer to get the exact numbers ;)

I paid $2.71/gallon yesterday. If my calculations are correct, that's about 39p/liter.

I paid $2.989/Gallon yesterday (in US units)

I've already got my bicycle out and started working on it, hopefully after a few weeks of training, I'll be able to make the 17 mile treck through the city to work each day, because I'm too cheap :p

The lowest price where I live is $3.09 a gallon. Alot of places are only selling 87 octane and some places just sold all of their gas at the price before the price jack and plan on waiting it out and not buying any more gas until prices go back down. Unfortunately, I seriously doubt we'll see gas below $3.00/gallon here again.

Well, it's up again. I just got back from the gas station (needed gas for the lawn mower) and it's now up to $3.49 (87 octane) - $3.79 (91 octane)... I found some old receipts from a business trip I took last year at this time and it's $1.20/gallong higher now.

Heh, well back from my post at "11-08-2005, 22:43" (~$2.40/gal), Katrina raised those prices almost a dollar per gallon in the last week. I've seen as high as $3.60/gal and pretty much every time I drive by a gas station it's gone up again. It skipped gouging and went straight to extorsion. It being Labor Day weekend (whey they normally jack up prices, like any other long weekend or major holiday) hasn't helped things either. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they manage to extort it up to $4/gal by my birthday (26th... holy crap I'm 18 in three weeks)

I'm just thinking back to only a few years ago when I saw my all-time low price of 87c/gal. That was unusally low, but it's *quadrupled* in price since!
