The blue stripes eitherside light up - not sure how though - and the window comes as standard. It should cost under £50 without a PSU I'm told. Cheers, CC
Fair comment Lazy, I hope to see it in the flesh before parting with any cash. But cheap(er) cases have their place also. Cheers, CC
Lazy: What do you exactly mean with quality of a case? Paint layers and stuff? CC: I like the design of the case but I prefer home built mods over premodded cases
what i can't believe is that cases still have slots for floppy drives. 3.25" bays are one thing, but this is craaaazy.
lol. we have terminals at our school. everything is run from the servers. as a resulkt of this we have to go to the admin every time we want to put something on the network. dont knock cheap cases. mine was £30 including a psu and delivery and it is very strong, good paint job, looks quite nice and is well designed
hey ... i use my floppy daily ... sony digicam ... takes floppies ... floppies cheaper than flash cards ... cheap = good.
floppy = 1.44mb = small file = not many pics = **** quality. sorry but it does you want a microdrive. my dadds camera has more hard disk space than my first computer
what i want, and what i can afford, are two entirely different things. ive had the mavica fd-81 for about 4 years now, bought it used off a mate who needed art supply $$ for his summer classes for about 1/3 retail (he got it at a hefty discount from the sony factory store near columbus, ohio). and i just quit my job last week, and start school monday, so im gonna be broke for a couple years. add on the fact that im about to get married, and my fiancee is starting school in october, and the fact that niether of us are working, and floppies look better than not eating. </rant>
i mean that it could be a finger cutter also the build of the case might not be of such good quality.
Here's the deal... Wanna make your floppy better, more memory etc. etc. Get one of the memory stick to floppy adapters (looks like a floppy) and a 128mb Memostick... Never have to use a second disk, you can format it for boot, you can use the much larger size, and it uses the same drive everyone bitches about. You can use it for file transfers to-from school etc. etc. [nonsense statement] we have come far enough to overcome the shortcomings of our former short-sightedness.[/nonsense statement] (WTF was THAT?) Either way, if YOU like the case, then that's cool... I'm sure you could change the lighting on those sidebars... me thinks "cool vu meter" would look cool in those.
