What do I think? Misguided. :/

You want 2x8800GTX in SLI and an Asus Striker Extreme (if you're lucky you'll get a board that works).

One 30" is better than two 22s.

Analouge TV??? Get a Terratec PCI-Express x1 dual tuner.

Do you really need 1.5Tb of space and two DVD-RW and a FLOPPY DISK!? Get a 750GB and a 150GB Raptor X.

4GB DDR2 is a waste unless you're a photoshop whore, otherwise get get 2GB of Corsair Dominator, using 4 slots will make 1T unavailable.

1kW PSU? What make?? What CPU cooler? Make/model? What case? How are you cooling it?

4gb ram=no, 32bit windows don't make good use of it.

btw, can't wait till your rig burns, because of the crappy psu that you have chosen.

Why quad sli, like bindi says get a 30".

The second two cards will barely be used.

Quad Sli is scripted to run only at resolutions over 1600 *1200.

Because the perfomance actualy can decrease i think when the resolutions are low.

8800GTX or GTS SLi is better.

no, get 30 inch apple cinema display, or dell 3007fpw - they run resolutions beyond HDTV.

Get 2gb corsair dominator instead of 4gb of ram, because windows xp is kind of limited to 3gb of ram.

as stated above, get 8800 series cards, basically it's always better to run the newest generation, especially that 8800 are dx10 cards already afair\

get some decent case, like antec p180 (can be a little bit too small though) or lian-li pc343 if it is not too big.

If you buy 7series cards youll get dx9 graphics, 8800 will give you DX10 graphics

8800 is optimised to larger screens

Probs a Quad core (if you can be bothred setting affinities) For gaming primaraly probably dual core so the X6800 as opposed to the kentsfield QX6700.

A good board like the Striker by asus.

A good stable powersupply, SLI 8800GTX (ideally but you might wanna leave a slot open) or buy two 8800GTS.

2gb of dominator pc8888 or wait for teh pc9*** by Corsair in the form of dominator. However it's essentially the same as the pc8888 just warrentied for that bit more clock.

a raptor 150gb or 74gb for game .exe's and a 750gb for storage on things which dont need such high access rates.

Ram - windows can see 4gig, but can only give 2gig of ram per thread -- multithreaded apps have no issue with this so get what ever ram you want -- its not really a huge thing.

and go with what ever everyone else has said -- get a raptor instead of the second 750

    Wheres the raptor?

Also where do you REALLY need a soundcard, i remember in the old days when intergration wasnt really that common you did, but will you really need it when the board already is quite effective.

Why pc6400 (800) ram, why not the pc8888. (1111) unless you plan on clocking the ram up to 8888

Bearing in mind that the Striker is having constant BIOS updates to be stable, as is every 680i board atm. The EVGA and BFG versions are on the beta2 BIOS (check Hardocp.com front page) to try to address SATA/memory corruption issues, but really it's the only SLI chipset worth having for Core2 atm.

You're missing a Raptor X 150GB from the list ;) and another 8800GTX for SLI with oooooodles of Antialising possibility.

You want PC7200-PC8888 ram if you want to serious overclock, as well as including some sort of massive LGA heatsink. We use Zalman or Scyth in the labs and get good results.

X-Fi is absoultely necessary for games, onboard just does not compare.

Drop the Enermax Galaxy. It's not exactly the greatest, due to the number of rails, the length..

If you don't particularly mind about noise, try the Silverstone Olympia 1kw. It's rather loud, but it's very high quality, and it's a single 80a rail.
