i'd like a way to figure out how i can get some leds i want to mount in my subwoofer to react to the bass.... i know there's got to be a way to wire a circuit into whats there already... but i haven't the time to figure it out
it would be cool to have needle based vu meters for the left & right connected to your soundcards headphone output, i asked if it was possible earler & i think macro said the circuit was on the way or am i talking out of it again? but it would look cool having old skool vu needles on the front of my case wired to the sound cards headphone port bouncing to the distortions of slipknot i love my sb16 line out for my hifi & headphone socket for this if the circuit is possible ps slink we have both asked for this before but hey it will look swweeettt if possible, troo
I'll second this -- although would like to know how to do it with your electrobus. Have already got the voltage regs, the spdt push-push pots (RS was out, got them from Farnell).... maplin knobs are on way -- ordering all this stuff from the UK ain't cheap!
OK peeps, just to reassure you, I am taking all this on board and several of the projects are under way. Please bear in mind that I currently have a fair number of projects on the go and they all need to be tested to ensure repeatability and compatability with the widest feasable range of hardware. So things are not going to appear over night Patience is rewarded with quality. :dude:
the bit-tech crew are truly our saviors. let's pray for them and spread the word! jezus has reincarnated!
wow, went over to http://www.cpemma.fsnet.co.uk/sdiodes.html and well, now i desperatly wanna do one, but i guesss im more of a n00b then i though, it confused me so
Joined this forum, so i can post, Is it possible to build a digitial PWM or a circuit using digi pot that is software controled from OS, also another idea, for those water coolers, is there circuit with maybe flow meter, such that when one pushes the power button, the circuit powers on the pump, and checks for waterflow, then if ok powers on the comp. I have been trying fuss with trying to confine the following devices Natriumtech digibus and LCD board with software interface like LIS LCD baord. your expertise would be awsome and fun, if i can build it and put it into one device. thank you
I will tell you something that if could be done, would make you freakin famous Macro ....as if you weren't already ..Teh leetest mod evar! : 3.5" rheobus ....... No one does as far as I know and it would be the next step in modding......a digital one would be the step after that......
That shouldn't be too hard... There's lots of space in a 3.5" bay. How do you mean "digital"? Pushbuttons to increase and decrease fan speed instead of a potentiometer? Software controlled fan speed? Both? 7-seg LED displays that display fan speed?´ It's really pretty basic stuff... I'd like a challenge. If someone want something really advanced, don't hesitate to mention the idea. If it's something that sounds useful, worth the cost of the needed componentes, and is a intresting challenge. Then I might actually do it.
Would doing this digital rheobus without using a microcontroller be a challenge? Somehow some advanced mods always go to using a microcontroller, which makes it not that easy for typical modders like me.
Knight rider led's I was just wondering if it would be possible for you to work on a knight rider led mod, not the usual one however, the "correct" one, where there is a trail of led's as opposed to just chasing led's. The idea i had in mind would be similar to the kit from cool case mod's (reviewed here: http://www.jsihardware.com/reviews.php?ID=73 ) however their kit is rather expensive and i wouldn't get the same satisfaction from buying a kit as i would building one Cheers philth
He might still have the design somewhere, people have asked him (earlier this month) to post it, but he hasn't directly responded yes or no... He did post other stuff in the thread though, so he probably saw it
i second the digital flow meter! that idea would be superb. oh, i know i will be bashed into the wall for asking (and told to use the search button) but how do you make those PCB layouts? i mean what do you need to purchase to do those.....
there are many good online tutorials on how to make PCB's, and there are some differint approaches too, here's one: http://www.veys.com/nick/electronics_tutorials/howto/tut2/ also browse through the site, it's a very good one and will possibly give you ideas about future mods
