So last friday night I was driving to my girlfriends parents after my class and I started getting hot, I was only wearing a tshirt and it wasnt warm out at the time but I turned off the seat heaters and turned the temperature in the car down. I kept getting warmer so I cracked the window open and started getting very jittery and anxious, by this time I had all the windows down and the moonroof open all the way and was sweating like I was in a sauna (it was about 40 deg f outside.) So Im starting to freak out at this time from the sudden hyperness and overall anxiety that came out of nowhere and I get to their house and get out and am shaking so bad I have a hard time hitting the remote to lock the door. I get inside and theres a note telling me that they will be back soon and theres a plate in the fridge for me. I have a hard time getting the plate from the fridge to the microwave because Im shaking so bad at this point and even a worse time pouring a glass of milk. So as I ate all the symptoms went away and now Im worried it could happen agian. Was it from not eating soon enough, it was around 9pm and the last time I ate was 11am so thats probably a factor. Basicaly what Im asking is if there is something wrong with me and is it worth a doctors visit?
I would visit a doctor about that probably. I would also do some research on the internet, there's good sites that you can go on where you just select your symptoms and than it asks you a series of questions to give you an idea of what could possibly be going on.
I get the same thing relatively frequently when I haven't been eating. I honestly dunno if it's anything serious, might be a good idea to get it checked out if it continues.
Blood sugar lvls? I get that I tend to eat once a day ( I know not good) Ive been at work n had to get some really sugary sweets which solves it. Same symptoms!
Probably due to lack of food, but the internal heat wave certainly sounds odd. Then again, I've gone for quite a bit longer than that without food without getting symptoms nearly that bad. I'd suggest getting it checked out, and quickly recognizing that this is a fourm full of geeks, not doctors
I have the same symptoms from a lack of food, as do a few other members of my family. As firehed said, get it checked out, it might be simple, but you don't want to take any risks!
