What Does your Desktop look like?

Karma Killer - If you read the thread it some already asked that question and answered it. It's Systemtrix with Copper Deck II skin.

 

Looks like a program I shall have to get... Although the trouble I find with alternate desktops/skinning apps is that most of them feel "cluttered" and obtrusive. Besides that, It took me a while to get my shortcut bars arranged the way I want and I normally have to recreate them from scratch in a new skin/desktop.

Still have to have a look tho, that CopperdeckII theme looks pretty damn sweet , and I'm sick of Object Desktop now

tk421 - how did you get the translucent winamp?

Some great looking desktops here - are the windows ones XP themes, or replacement windows shells?

 

OrbDemon, theres a couple different ways to make winamp translucent. winamp3 has it built in. you can also get the program windowfx and add translucency to any program.

and to show off (nearly) all of the copperdeck_II suite, here's a pic of a minimal (as in i didn't customize it hardly at all) install of it on my desktop

i'm also kinda taking a break from all the desktop programs and what not, so i went back to the normal blue taskbar, etc. save for the modded bliss picture i found quite entertaining



the only thing i might add to this desktop is a matching version of the sysmetrix copperdeck_II skin (blue probably)

I personaly lothe the default XP blue startbar, imo it makes my computer look more like a fisherprice children's toy than a 3 GHz computer I usualy use the 9x/2000 styled startbar, or whatever skinned bar I fancy at the moment...

That backround gives me ideas...

 

yo-duh, yeah ill replace the tasbar once i find something simple that i like (i'm gonna do a halo theme, hence the pic, and because halo pc comes out this month). as for a link, i can't remember where i found it, but you can easily copy the little bits over from the original bliss wallpaper and just cover up my startbar, winamp, and cursor. ill try to find the link for ya though

ok..... i lied about stopping with modding my desktop. sue me

a lot of people seemed that my ornage desktop i did was a bit drastic. so here it is in bl000!!



it only took me about 10 minutes to switch everything to this, so it's not "complete". its just to give me/you people an idea of what it would look like in a different color (i've also got the wallpaper redone in a nice green version if anyone is interested in either one)

i used that winstyle for a while ... but since i formatted last time, i havent reinstalled sysmetrix, just been using mbm5 for monitoring.

As for the theme, it's the Leet theme for wm, although I customized it to be green.
