    ok something a little different ... playing with my new digicam (finally! .. mavica went byebye about a year ago ... now i gots a sony dsc-p52, not bad for 230$) and thought id get a shot of my desktop ... or more specifically, the top of my desk :)

    i really miss the mavica's manual focus, but i just couldnt affor to drop 700+ on a sony with manual .. i got the old mavica back in 99 for about 500$ from a friend very lightly used ... under 1 MP (1024x768) and i swear the picture quality was better than the new 3.2MP one ...

    i know ... if you read that thread you'll see several shots of my old flat ... but i just did my desk this time as the rest of my room is quite stark white and boring .. the missus and me didnt bother decorating as well most likely only be here 1 year ... i didnt feel that 1 shot of my desk justified the "room&puter" thread.

    i may be dumb, but im not stupid :)

    do you guys know any taskbars/shell i could use to replace the windows taskbar ...i'm sick and tired of it. I'm not looking for anything funcy, just a simple and easy to use, customisable taskbar.

    You could try Object Dock, quite easy on the eye, and not difficult to set up or use. you can download it from www.stardock.com

    What has CDex got to do with piracy?

    Ripping CD's to mp3 (or ogg in mr penski's case) isn't illegal.
