I need to know this I'm ordering a 4x20 LCD with blue edge lighting LEDs (well they are green but will be blue) and i would like to invert it. I want to get blue text on black background. Whatis the name of the film to do this.

Any tips with using this stuff?
    Any good websites/ articles?
    Any supliers in the US?

    Maplins Have Something For You

You could try Gel Sheet its £5.99 from mappers, and comes in dark blue.

It comes in one massive roll and is mainly used for sticking in front of theatre lights for colour. So i guess it can take a lot of heat.

I have loads left over as I only needed a strip of it for going in front of my VFD

    Oops sorry

I should learn to read - you said US not UK. Maplins wont help you then will it.

Try looking for sonewhere that sells gel sheet then.

Or matrix Oribital sell filters, check there sizing to see if they will fit your lcd I think they are about $12

i found some last night and over nighted it to me now im just gonna add some blue LEDs. Mmmmm..... I bought a 4x20 LCD for 25 bucks off of ebay. Now I can get that sweet glowing blue writing on black background.

So my mirrored window tint idea wouldnt work?

Linear: can't recall the placement of the film on a Digital Doc 5. Inside the glass or directly on the LCD? Got a link?
