An online shooter that fills me with as much joy as BF2 did It was difficult to master and it was a joy to behold! The latest iterations have had their moments but do not compare.
Have been reading through these and some of the ideas are brilliant! Are there any game devs on these forums?
I want to go back to CS Beta 6.5-7 back (circa 1999), UT2K3 Instagib CTF and Quake 3 200% speed servers, but problem is it's about the personal situation as much as the game; the time to play, the servers and similar aged community online etc. I tried Quake online recently and it's just not the same.
Did you play iCTF competitively in UT2k3? I did for that, 99 and 2k4. Would be funny to run in to an old name. I was called Digi or Digi_Mortal then as well. CS:GO is good, as a 16 year vet of CS as well, it's been the first ''new'' iteration that has felt like what 1.6 ended up being. Some of the kids I am playing against were not even born when CS was first released though..
There was a Fantastic Voyage game on the Amiga back in 1990. It was a shooter and it was tough. Music by Bjorn A Lynne was excellent. There isn't enough inside the body games/films in my opinion.
Like an addict, but not competitively. I stopped playing CS around ~1.2. My usual gametag was/is still 'Kebab or Shag?' Fallout : London - **** YES.

I really want another Vampire The Masquerade game. I'd also like more singleplayer FPS games with at least a half decent story. I'd all but given up on them until Wolfenstein A New Order came out. Erm what else.. To see Square-Enix go back to their roots with Final Fantasy, as I really don't enjoy the direction they have taken the franchise.
Stalker MMO Something where you explore huge (abandoned? Alien?) industrial spaces and try to figure out what it was or what it did Another idea I've had for awhile is one where you always play in god mode but while you can't be killed, the mortal you're escorting can be or else you both die when time runs out. Perhaps you play as a minor deity sent to rescue a mortal from a dying planet. And because someone has to say it... HL3
Stalker MMO sounds interesting, would freshen up the game for me as similarly with skyrim, eso brought a bit of fresh life back into it and made me play elder scrolls games again (apart from when I show off modded skyrim to friends used to console ) Post count 6283. 6+2-8+3 = 3 Half life 3 confirmed?
You've more than likely watched the teaser, but try watching this one - it has a different sound track that IMHO nails it perfectly (I would do a youtube window but it can't seem to handle a time stamp). Linky
Get out of here Stalker! I'd really love a game that has an expansive lore similar to the Elder scrolls games, with the amazing combat of games like Dark Souls. I love Elder Scrolls for it's stories, quests and modding potential but man.. that combat though.
Anything without orcs, trolls, swords, magic, witches, scrolls or any more of that medieval Game of Thrones shite. Give us the future, not the ******* past! How about a System Shock 2 reboot? That would be amazing with modern tech.
Looks like our wish for more Vampire the Masquerade and World of Darkness content was heard as Paradox have just bought the White Wolf rights from CCP. So excited to see what news comes from this...
