Games really are bad. I own a lot of the DX10 "showcase" games and a rig that can stomp them, and the only one I gave a rip about as far as the graphics being OMG awesome was LOTRO.

My pair of 4870x2s will soldier on for a bit. Sure, I want a killer app-I agree we need one-but nobody's worrying about it. When we stop buying, they'll start listening again.

I'll be using whichever card arrives at my doorstep :) Otherwise I'll just keep using the 8800GT, it's not like there would be any new, demanding games in the horizon that would interest me the least bit. Nor would I spend any more money on graphics anyway.

I'm really not suprised people don't feel the need to upgrade at the moment , with so many dx9 console ports around nothing is really pushing the performance envelope , this must be a big worry for gpu makers, dx10 was such a let down too , so why bother upgrading , for a few more fps in crysis .. not! , my gtx260 does everyhting i want and more , i won;t be touching a new generation card at launch.... time to upgrade my mountain bike instead :rock:
