Lol so many of these cards are bringing back so many memories! Unsuprisingly lot's of old voodoo's. Surely the daddy of PC gaming!

As mentioned lot's of TNT's too. Sadly i couldn't afford one at the time:(

Also nice to see a few that had Matrox Milleniums. i didn't know much about PC's back then and thought it would be a good choice for gaming! Because it was expensive i suppose:) Although it did play the original Moto racer quite well in dx3 i think at the time.

What i DO see a lack of is Power VR cards. I really really wanted one around the same time i bought my voodoo 1 card but couldn't afford both. It was purely Ultimate Race that i wanted as it looked stunning. There was no 3dfx patch:(

I think the 9700 s came out frist and man they were like 3 times the speed of a OCd to the max Ti 4600 the NV came out with the FX 5900 but the 9700pro pwnz it . The 9800 s cards were a refresh ment to compete with the Fx 5950 and ati still killed it.

youre right the 9800 is an amazing card. My buddy has an 9800 XT and it runs any game thrown at it at 1024x768 fairy well, its probally faster than my 6600 GT by a bit.

-ISA Some ancient Video 7 thing that went out with the ark
    -AGP GeForce 4 MX440 @ 64mb
    -AGP GeForce FX5200 @ 128mb
-AGP GeForce FX5800 @ 128mb (noisy little bugger)
    -PCI-E GeForce FX 6200 @128mb w/Turbocache
    -PCI-E Radeon X600 Pro

Yep, i'm leaving nVidia for graphics cards...using an nForce 4 mobo chipset tho. I have got a stack of PCI cards knocking around from all the pentium 1 / pentium 2 machines that have been given to me, or spoils taken from an upgrade (There's a 64mb TNT2 in there i think)

    In the PC's I've owned:

    Geforce4 MX440 64MB
    Geforce4 Ti4200 64MB AGP 8x
Radeon 9800 non pro which was flashed to pro (128MB)
    Radeon X800GTO 256MB (current card)

I've still got the Ti4200 - I'm going to keep it as it's a great piece of hardware history, and it's not worth it to me to sell it second hand anyway.

In our old P2 family PC it had an 8MB Hercules Terminator "Beast" or something in it.

Also had a 32MB Kyro II card in that machine at one point and a Geforce 2.
