What great deals did you get on the Craziest, Best Shopping Day of the Year?

Ok, I just got back from the six stores i went to today and got some ok deals and was wondering what other people got. I left my house at 5am and didnt have to wait in line outside for anystores (thank god as it was 14 degrees) Heres what I got and the stores i went to:

Compusa:
Seagate 200gb Harddrive for $30

Circut City:
Xbox Halo 2 Case thing (holds controlers and games) for $2
Cat in the Hat DVD for my little sister - $5

Microcenter: Went there but no good deals

Best Buy:
Tom Clancy Splinter Cell Chaos Theroy for $10

Office Max: Again nothing good

Staples:
M$ Wireless InteliMouse for $15 (marked down from $50)

All and all it was a good 4 hours shopping. Finished at 9am and hung out with the friends I went with until now. So what did everyone else get?

 

Some nice bargains there dude. I suppose our UK equivalent is the January sales, so I'll tell you what I get then.

It seems much better for consumers to have the sales before xmas. Damn.

fooking ass. Amazing deals. You'll be lucky to get anything near the deals you've got, £17 for 200GB is the best bargain I've ever seen in my whole life!

Wow, then i guess i shouldnt mention the 160gb sata drive for $20 (would have bought that but they sold out)

And I should mention that those arent the out the door prices (well everything but the harddrive is) I had to pay $120 upfront for it and now wait for $90 worth of rebates. Still worth it though. Left the house with $200 and came back with $25

i also got Q4 for 30 dollars
and at target it got the simpsons season 6 and family guy season 3 for 17.88 each

 

thats what you would expect if you only brought the 200gb hdd in the uk and wasn't expecting any rebates at all :O

 

ah man stop talking about all these great deals that we people in the UK can only dream about..

 

Ahh..black friday, the only day an old woman would beat the hell out of you for snatching the last toy she wanted for her grandson/granddaughter. Hell, just about everyone gets in a rage today.

arg, my parents made me help put decorations up.

Fry's electronics had some killer deals. The had a 500w power supply for $5. Then they had a sg 300gb for about $70. The deals were endless, but i couldt go. Atleast i was able to pick up all the watercooling parts i needed from home depot tonight. I figured fry's would be completely out of stuff. They normally run out of sale items on normal sales, let alone black friday.

 

Heh, I went to work. There were about 30 of us total in the 6-story building.

60gb black ipod for $128.39 at best buy And the other one within a ten mile radius sold for $399 (yes, they had just two, and the timing on finding mine was nothing but sheer luck and knowing half the employees)

of course, I had to give back my 20gb 4G

Umm... free cell phone case at best buy as well. And a couple pens. Free soda where I work... but that's cause I work there :/ Free pen at the bank also, but I think they shorted me 2c on my deposit. Yes, I *increased* my bank account's balance on black friday!

Yeah, no real shopping. Too many arses going berserk over marked up sale prices. Went out around 7:30am hoping to get my exchange done on a day when they'd have just gotten stuff in, total mob scene, line wrapped around the store. I'm doing my shopping online only I think this year. Let the fedex guy deal with the lines.

 

Remind me to jet off to the US next thanksgiving...

nope, you need to have an address in the states and a bank account in the states to put the cheque into when it arrives

By the time I got to compUSA they had sold out of everything, was after the drives but no luck, just got 50 16x printable DVD+Rs for $11

At best buy I got season 3 of 24 and the shield for $20 each and a 120GB drive for $20, and a D-link usb 11g adapter and 11g router for $15

At staples, 200GB drive for $30, Office depot 1GB sandisk memory stick for $30

Considering buying the $120 74GB raptor from newegg as well

Not too bad, just annoyed that I didnt go to compusa at midnight the night before to get the drives
