Modding what happened to the noritake graphic vfds from ebay thread?

I cant find it anywhere, was it deleted?

if so, why?

 

It appears it was deleted, makes no sense to me. View this for some enlightenment. Mods scare me sometimes.

It's not deleted, we moved it into the moderator forum to talk about it some more.

If you have a specific question, you can ask it. I ordered a couple myself, and I'm eager to discuss them as well. When people begin to get theirs, we'll have a technical thread about them. If I get motiviated, I may even look up the datasheets and start that thread before I get mine.

 

Maybe it wasn't delted, but it was as good as.

Well, you're wrong. We didn't delete it, we moved it, and there were good reasons for it. It really contained nothing of use other than a link to the auction. It's being superseded by this technical thread: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23501 which will be the bible as far as this display goes.
