Hornby Train set from a model fair when i was 5 or so. Tin of Biscuits from a raffle at Sir Patrick Moores house. COD4 on PC from bit-tech (Forgot i entered, so asked for it for Christmas, low and behold, got 2 copies) Sam
Case of wine. Hamper full of port, cheezes and wine. Gaming headset. Gaming mousemat. Laptop cooling pad and universal charger. Some Lost blurays. Various games. most of which I gave away. Edit: Oh I've not counted any horse racing stuff as that's more hard work than luck.
1) Sony E-book Reader (survey about the local library) 2) Deus Ex (one of TGS's giveaways) 3) A Nintendo Wii (on a WoW forum) that I had to pass on because I couldn't give a US address for postage. Looking back, I could have given a friend of my dad's as a forwarding address but didn't think of it 4) £5 in a local Liberal Party party that my parents took me to (I was about 5 years old) 5) Oh and the deposit for my central heating, having entered and won a $10 poker competition. I think the winnings came to around £550.
Literally nothing until I won a copy of Sleeping Dogs from TGS, what a legend Talking about winning things....
I "won" a copy of Windows 7 at launch by staging a "launch party" It came in a Steve Balmer signature edition cardboard sleeve ! Seriously though - thanks Microsoft - honest - saved me £140

I co-won a contest for writing a slogan for the Eldon Square Rec Center when it opened. We got two free day passes for my class and the one above us. I got a t-shirt with my name on it and a gym bag. The poxy sports teacher put me with the lasses on the second day and we played on some mats while the other class got to play football....tossers I won the 'yard of ale' contest in my old regiment. I won another yard of ale and had to buy the next round for my troop.....tossers! I would hate to think what would happen if I won a car/house/lottery.
A toy car when I was 7, in a school competition where everyone would send off a balloon and see whose got the most far. Mine got all the way to France (well, I live in Belgium, but in the North-East, so that's still quite a distance) A little LED book-lamp I won when I was about 14 I think in a small competition by the local police. It died a week later, cheap *******s... After that... nothing really.
I won a Pet Praying mantis from mantisUK's monthly prize draw about 8 years ago, though i had previously donated £10 to help them recover after the (family run) company had been scammed the month before, so i couldve bought it for that price. Still, felt fuzzy "winning" something (till i then had to shell out eveything in order to look after the thing...)
Dirt from some CPC, Bit-tech compo. Didn't realise until 2 years later when I was clearing out my inbox and found the email. Other than that, my mum won a laptop because she had used this shares selling website while they were running a competition, I ended up getting the laptop which was great!
Believe it or not, I have never won anything. Not a single raffle, competition or even £2 on a quiz machine. And there was this one time I played a fruit machine. I put £10 in and got the press the big SPIN button until I run out of money. No option to hold or anything. I was THAT unlucky. I'm just going to go sit in the corner and cry now...
