what heatsink?

    What is a good heatsink for an ATHLON CPU? The one i got now isn't working all that great. So i would love the help, thanks!

    If you can afford it and your motherboard wil take it, the Alpha Pal8045 is generally regarded as the best option with a fan of your choice. If not, then the Taisol 760 is a fantastic budget option

    alright thanks. I have a gigabyte mobo but don't know what kind it is. I'm looking at buying a new one that supports DDR ram. I think i'll just build another computer

    welcome to the boards dude,

    i completly agree with jamie, and as said if youre on a budget the taisol is a great heatsink, and also it will fit all socket a mobos...

    well i havent heard of one that doesnt take it...:eyebrow:
