    I haved downloaded a lot of videos and they are in AVI, I am searching for converters but all of them are for the mac.Anyone knows such a good converter?

    Try 'Badaboom' by Elemental Inc. its using the GPU to encode, I used it a lot of Time, friendly using and you save time. Its only work with Nvidia card, If you have a ATI take Avivo

    The new versions of Handbrake did some wonderful conversion for me, quality was superb on the iphone. Just download it, select the source file and click the ipod/iphone preset and itll set it up nicely.

    i have just downloaded 'jodix free ipod video converter' its quick and simple to use i have just convertered 2 avi files and its very quick

    +1 more to Handbrake - simple and uncomplicated interface. It doesn't need you to poke around with bitrate settings to produce a good quality output.
