IC: integrated circuit. Wireless IC: the controller microchip on an 802.11b/g/N NIC. e.g. "Broadcom BCM4318".

Wireless IC could very well be the controller chip, in the industry (not consumer electronics) i'd expect it to be a wireless chip with internal antenna. eg. the ZigBee chip CC2480 has internal antenna and can communicate between one another using just its silicon. very neat bit of kit, i've had lots fun with eZ430-RF2480 demo kit.
