Graphics What is AGP fastwrite?

    I have been looking through my bios and saw a thing called AGP fastwrite what does this do and will it increase performance???
    Also how do you engage FSAA? As I have a brand new gf4 4600 and want to put it through its paces!!

    Allows data to be sent directly from the corelogic (i.e. chipset) to the AGP master (graphics chip) instead of keeping a copy in system memory and making the AGP master fetch it. Enabled it for best performance.

    You'll find your FSAA settings in display properties>settings>advanced

    I still dont get the Aperture Size thing, If I have a 128MB ATI Radeon 8500LE, what should it be set at?

    your AGP aperture wants to be half your system memory, so since i have 512mb RAM my AGP aperture is 256mb

    Or 128 - this is the most common config IMO, some people have found that 256 gives a lower or no better performace then 128. But defo no lower then that.
