Can anyone tell me what this is in the pics? They are of the front and back of the item and what can I do with it?

Any ideas, comments are welcomed.
PS.The number on the connector strip is VF0094P02, it has 16 connection points at the end of the strip. It measures 5 5/8"x5/8" and 3/16" thick. It's looks as if it has a piece of foil between 2 pcs of glass. This came out of a Toshiba T4900CT laptop, so the strip was plugged into one of the boards inside, so it doesn't have a controller attached to it. Again any help is grateful. Thanks

Thanks OtakuHawk. At least now I can start some research on what I can do with it in a mod. Any ideas or other comments are welcomed. Again thanks for the reply.
