Macintosh HD (Didn't see the need to change it), and networked drives -
LaCie (TV shows, music vids etc and default torrent location) (again couldn't be bothered to change it)
Xerxes (FW portable drive for when I wanna move it to somewhere else)
RAID (Disused, unless there's a pretty huge torrent that I don't want bogging down my other two drives)
    Nickel (Films only).

There's another mac hd on the 'server' but again just can't see any point in changing it, it's not like I actually really use it for much other than torrent box and media server. (I really really REALLY need to get a mini itx board or something, that thing just kills my leccy bill)

DVNO - Internal start-up disk in iMac.
Danger - Main backup partition on external drive.
Mac OS X Install DVD - Have a wild guess what this partition is...

    C: Main Disk - 69.90GB partition
    D: System Reserved - 100MB partition
    E: Storage Disk - 1TB
TV Shows 2 - 250GB NTFS folder partition
TV Shows 3 - 157GB NTFS folder partition

For some reason the names of my hard drives do not show in My Computer, only is Disk Management. Any ideas?

I used to have awesome hard drive names but over the years I ran out of imagination and now they're quite boring

-I have yet to name my SSD
    -Snap (500GB)
    -500 (500GB)
    -Black (640GB)
-Rocafella (name reserved for my biggest HDs. This time it's a 1.5TB)

    Games & Music
    Torrents
    Films
    TV
    TV
    Misc

Bit boring. May try and think of something a little snappier for them.

It's just a drive.. just name it something sensible. Mine are:

    C: Windows
    D: Music and Video
    E: Storage

Only servers should have names. Mine are:

    Main RAID5 server - Earth
    RAID5 Mirror - Moon.

Started naming my drives with the prefix 'x-' years ago and just never bothered to come up with a new one.

    Internal:

    x-linux - 250GB
    x-media_01 - 1TB
    x-media_02 - 1TB

    x-windows - 250GB

    External:

    x-disk_01 - 320GB
    x-stick_01 - 8GB
    x-stick_02 - 8GB

p.s. my computers follow the same naming convention

    x-command - main Linux PC
    x-gaming - Windows gaming PC
x-laptop - no points for guessing.

I'm pretty straight-forward with my naming, apart from my NAS.

    C: Applications
    D: Games
    Z: Media
    External - Data Backup

    NAS - Mini Oven
