Someone gave my brother this massive adapter thing. The main male port is larger than a printer port. The main male port splits off into a group of five RCA jacks and a group of six RCA jacks. It also has a female monitor plug. "AMP" is printed on the male printer-like connector and the female monitor connector. Anyone know what this is?

sounds like it could be from a sound-card with lots of I/O. Not sure about the monitor plug. are you sure its not just a serial port (which would be useful for dongles and stuff like that on a sound-card).
have a look at this card link
    Its an m-audio delta 1010lt

Yeah, it looks close to that. Maybe the monitor connector is just a serial connector. By the way, it's from 1992 (it has a tag on it that says "3/17/92.")
