I like Segoe UI, particularly the Segoe UI Light variant. Looks so clean and modern.

Calibri. Easy to read, sans-serif, and mostly because I'm a writer and prefer clean fonts :)

I haven't done any design work for a couple years, but I used to favor fonts similar to Geo Sans.

For essays, either arial, calibri or something from the computer modern typeset (LaTeX).

if i'm doing design work, it depends, but i quite like Mank Sans

Comic sans ofcourse? Suitable for both play and business.

Is the default Times New Roman? I like the default.

Depends on the situation and what kind of font is called for; I like Tahoma for my website though & Papyrus for the headers..
